TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that YSRCP government has filed 19 cases against Kodela in the last three months. Stating that this is YSRCP’s political murder, Naidu demanded CBI enquiry in Kodela’s death.
“Just for the sake of Rs 1 Lakh worth furniture, Kodela was continuously harassed. They directed officials to file cases against Kodela though there was no concrete evidence. YSRCP government did not even bother the Supreme Court orders and filed cases that too with non-bailable warrants. When Kodela’s lawyer approached the police for bail, they were abused with filthy languages,” said Chandrababu.
With these sort of harassment, Kodela was deeply upset and finally, he had to commit suicide. Aren’t these evidences that this is YSRCP’s political murder? In 40 years of his political career, there was not even a single case against Kodela. In Hyderabad he is staying in a rented house,” added Chandrababu.
