Superstar Rajinikanth-starrer 2.0 is its post-production stage. The team is wrapping up the pending VFX work. On Wednesday, filmmaker Shankar unveiled Amy Jackson’s first look from 2.0. Going by the poster, it looks like Amy Jackson is playing a robot in the film.
Earlier this year, leaked pictures of Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson on the sets of the film went viral online. If reports are anything to go by, Chitti The Robot and Amy Jackson might team up against Dr. Richard (Akshay Kumar), who’s playing the main antagonist.
Recently, Shankar revealed that 2.0 is not a sequel to Enthiran and a completely different film. On Saturday, Shankar released a making video, which gave us a glimpse of what 2.0 might be.
Later this month, the team will host a massive audio launch at Burj park in Dubai. AR Rahman is said to be performing live at the event.
The much-awaited 2.0 teaser will be out on November 22, while the trailer is expected to be out in December.
Produced by Lyca Productions, 2.0 is said to be costliest Asian film and is made on a whopping budget of Rs 400 crore.
The film stars Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain in important roles. 2.0 will hit the screens on January 25, 2018.
