TDP’s victory in Nandyal is a reality now. Whether YSR Congress party and its leader Jagan accepts it or not, TDP has won with a thumping majority. And it is important to know what are the factors that led to TDP’s victory at the same time, even more important to know is the men behind TDP’s win who defeated not YSRCP but anti-incumbency factor as well.
And three Reddy leaders have played a significant role in the party’s victory. Agricultural Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Industries Minister N. Amarnath Reddy and Marketing, Animal Husbandry Minister Adi Narayan Reddy have camped in Nandyal and making sure that entire campaign goes in tandem.
The other two major players are Rural Housing Minister Kalva Srinivasulu and Uravakonda MLC Payyavula Keshav who chalked out the strategy. Keshav wasn’t part of the door-to-door campaign, but he is the brain behind the poll strategy of TDP in Nandyal.
And of course, the faces of the campaign in Nandyal are Tourism Minister and Allagadda MLA Bhuma Akhila Priya, her sister Bhuma Mounika and her brother, TDP candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy. Not many know that Brahmananda Reddy had silently played crucial role which helped him gain good mandate.
Actors Balakrishna, Venu Madhav have their parts in the campaign. And not to forget is none other than the CM Chandrababu Naidu himself. Before CM arrives to Nandyal, TDP leaders made sure that they reach out to all the areas thus bringing a positive vibe all over to overcome the anti-incumbency. Above all, Jagan’s harsh comments, Roja’s personal attack on Bhuma daughters have made it easy for the TDP.
