548 Missing Cases! Telangana DGP Asks To Not Spread Rumours

Other day a shocking report published in Eenadu newspaper about the 548 missing cases in and around Hyderabad region in the last 9 days, has triggered a storm on social media. This led to BJP leaders questioning the TRS government about the law and order situation in the state. And here comes the comment on Telangana Director General of Police over the same.

At a time when citizens are wondering if any particular gangs are in action, kidnapping the people, Telangana DGP confirmed that all these missing cases are isolated cases related to individual problems like family, lover affair, exam failure and other reasons. More than 85% of cases are said to be traced and efforts are being made to solve the remaining cases too. “Dear Citizens, please don’t believe & don’t spread this type of rumours”, says DGP.

On the other hand, DGP has also warned that anyone spreading malicious rumours on missing cases will be subjected to legal action. Especially posting uneasy stuff about this on social media will be inviting action from law enforcement authorities.
