8 years of ‘Manam’: Akkineni Naga Chaitanya reminisces his collaboration with director Vikram K Kumar

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, who is currently working on a number of projects, recalled his 2014 hit film ‘Manam’, which was released eight years ago. The ‘Majili’ actor penned a short but heartfelt note on ‘Manam’, one of his most memorable films, while sharing a photo from the sets of his upcoming project ‘Dootha’.

‘Manam’ is one of the most beloved Telugu classics, particularly among Akkineni fans. Akkineni Nageswar Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Akkineni Akhil, and Nagarjuna’s wife Amala Akkineni are among the film’s star cast. The technical crew includes PS Vinod as the Director of Photography, Prawin Pudi and Anup Rubens as the music composer.
Naga Chaitanya will next appear in Vikram Kumar’s ‘Thank You’, while the duo is collaborating for their web series ‘Dootha’ as well. Chay will be seen as a hockey player in ‘Thank You’. The film is directed by Vikram K Kumar and produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Raashii Khanna and Avika Gor are the lead actresses. S Thaman has composed the music for the film.
