The acrimonious fight between hero Ram and producer Bellamkonda Suresh has surprised all in film nagar.
Buzz in the industry is that Bellamkonda Suresh used a shocking trick on Ram to recover Rs 1 Cr advance amount he gave to the star.
The method that Bellamkonda used and the pressure that he applied on Ram has brought biggies of the industry to come together to take on action on the producer.
The incident happened two days ago at film chamber of commerce in Hyderabad. After the success of “Kandireega”, Bellamkonda gave an advance of Rs 1 Cr to Ram for another film.
They teamed up for “Rabhasa” in the direction of Santosh Srinivas but the film eventually was done by NTR and Ram didn’t return the advance. When NTR expressed willingness to give dates, Bellamkonda took this project from Ram to NTR shocking the former.
Since then Bellamkonda is putting pressure on Ram either to do a film for his production house or return the advance but Ram says it was not his fault of not acting in “Rabhasa” and had refused to return the advance.
When Ram is busy promoting his new release “Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi”, Bellamkonda is said to have resorted to a trick that shocked Ram and his producer uncle Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. Not to disrupt the release, Ram has agreed to repay the advance to Bellamkonda.
In Tollywood industry, many producers are angry with many heroes and directors for not honouring the commitments even after taking crores of rupees in advance but this is the first time that a producer almost blackmailed a hero to take the advance money back
