The long-awaited third film in the franchise, ‘Jurassic World 3’ film’s shooting has commenced yesterday and the filmmaker Colin Trevorrow shared a photo yesterday on Twitter. It was a photo of the first clap from the first day of the shooting. The title has been revealed and it will be called ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’.
Filmmaker Colin Trevorrow directed the first blockbuster in 2015 and J.A Bayona directed second in 2018, named ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’. The third film, which is also the final installment of the trilogy, will star Chris Patt and Bruce Dallas, along with original Jurassic Park stars and Oscar-winner Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum.
The film will mainly focus on the widespread consequences of the freed dinosaurs from the previous installment. The subtitle, Dominion, hints it as “sovereignty or control,” and that could be a major indicator of the plot. The film will tentatively release on 10 June 2021. Director Colin will write the script for Dominion along with the debutant Emily Carmichael. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley will return to produce the film.
