Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna is in top gear by tasting back-to-back successes. Her last outing was Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru. Currently, she is working with Icon star Allu Arjun in the upcoming Pan-India film Pushpa. The high-ticket film will be released in two parts.
To give a sneak-peek into Rashmika’s character in Pushpa, the makers have unveiled the first look today that shows the actress in a de-glam look. Posing a serious look, Rashmika is shown getting ready. Rashmika is playing ‘Srivalli’ role in the film.
The poster released by the makers to unveil Rashmika’s first look as Srivalli confirms that there is no change in the release date and part one, Pushpa The Rise will hit the theatres for the Christmas season.
Rashmika’s first look instantly reminds everyone of Samantha’s look in Rangasthalam. Designing Samantha’s look in a de-glam avatar, Sukumar gave a lot of scope to the actress to perform, and needless to say, Samantha grabbed the opportunity with both hands and proved her acting potential.
Now Rashmika fans are also hoping that she will shine in the role and give her best for the role. For the first time in her career, Rashmika is essaying such a challenging role. The first look says that Rashmika will be shown in a never-before avatar in the film.
Rashmika is also all set to make her debut in Bollywood with Mission Majnu that stars Sidharth Malhotra as the male lead. She had completed her portion of the shoot in her Bollywood debut film and is awaiting the release.
Pushpa is based on the red sandalwood smugglers directed by Sukumar. For the third time, Sukumar and Allu Arjun are coming together to make Pushpa, one of the much-awaited films in Tollywood. Pushpa also marks the first Pan-India film of Allu Arjun and Sukumar.
Along with Telugu, Pushpa will also have a release in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada. Talented Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil is foraying into Tollywood with Pushpa. Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, and Mohan Cheruku are bankrolling Pushpa under the Mythri Movie Makers, one of the leading production houses in Tollywood.
