Following a big defeat to Manchu Vishnu in the recently held MAA elections, Prakash Raj has revoked the MAA membership. He then cited the reason behind his decision to quit MAA effective immediately.
“You (MAA members) saw me as a non-local guy. You people defeated me, saying I am not a Telugu man. Then what is the point in continuing in MAA? I am resigning MAA membership effective immediately and there will be no change in my opinion,” Prakash Raj stated.
Prakash Raj’s resignation comes after Nagababu resigned MAA membership, saying he is hurt by the former’s defeat in the MAA elections.
It is known that Manchu Vishnu defeated Prakash Raj in the MAA presidential elections by a margin of around 400 votes. He is the new president of MAA now.
