Baby Movie Inspired By Real Life Incidents?

Small films turning out to be big blockbusters at the box office is the current trend now. We have seen a few films that achieved this. The Kerala Stories and The Kashmir Files are the best examples of this. Though a few say that controversies helped the films, they were released as small films and became big hits.

Coming to Tollywood, Baby is going on the same path. The small film had a super opening on day one and there is no looking back from there. The makers and the actors are on cloud nine for the dream run Baby is enjoying at the box office. By the end of its theatrical run, Baby might record even big numbers.

Now a piece of interesting news is doing rounds which says that Baby is inspired by a true incident and having moved by the incident, the story was developed. It is said that actor-director Sairajesh developed the Baby story inspired by an incident that happened in Tamil Nadu.

An incident is said to have happened in Tamil Nadu’s Salem a few years back. A girl pursuing her engineering degree met two boys- her classmate and an auto driver. The girl reportedly loved both of them. She was killed by them when they knew this.

The director was moved by this and he developed the Baby script. The reports gave a big clarity that the film’s story is not fictional and was created from real-life incidents.

Baby is written and directed by Sai Rajesh Neelam who earlier directed films like Hrudaya Kaleyam and Kobbari Matta. Sreenivasa Kumar Naidu (SKN) bankrolled the film under the Mass Movie Makers production banner. Anand Devarakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj Ashwin played the lead roles in the film.
