If reports are anything to go by, Mani Ratnam is likely to zero in on Arvind Swamy for his up next film with Ram Charan. Mani who has given first break to Arvind Swamy with Roja has also hired Arvind for Kadali that is considered as the second innings for the actor. Although Kadali failed to get critical, commercial acclaim, Aravind Swamy got noticed with his role.
Subsequently, Aravind is back in form with films like Dhruva (Thani Oruvan in Tamil), Bogan. He has now become hot property for stylish character roles.
Tipped to be an action film, Mani is going to cast Aravind Swamy alongside Ram Charan. However, it’s not sure whether Aravind is going to play the baddie or not. Meanwhile, Mani is waiting for the release of his next Cheliya (Kaatru Veliyidai in Tamil) that has Karthi, Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles. The film’s trailer was recently released and the film is slated for April 7 release.
On other hand, Charan is joining the shoot of his next film with Sukumar from March 20th. Charan and Mani would join forces after this film.
