Sometime back, Allu Arjun has hired a special team to look into the advertising, branding and other endorsement deals. But somehow, one of the deals that didn’t materialise last week, is now out in the open, leaving this team in a shock.
Apparently an English daily has come up with the story that Allu Arjun has shocked a clothing retail chain that approached him to attend the inauguration of their upcoming mall at Rajahmundry. As per the news daily. the mega hero is said to have demanded 1 crore remuneration and a private jet to flow him to and from Hyderabad to Rajahmundry. Shocked by the figure he quoted, the retail chain opted out for another star, the report says.
Actually the number is being presented as a big sin, but the branding-world is not surprised at all by this quote. “The likes of Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda are asking for 20 lakhs along with flights and hotels. And if these stars get 20 crores ‘share’ revenue for their films at the box office, Allu Arjun gets 4-5 times of that easily, which is a direct reminder of his craze. So, there is nothing wrong if he demands 5 times than a Deverakonda or Samantha” branding-related professional comments.
But then, the team of Allu Arjun is worried over the leakage of news in the first place as they are feeling that the people belonging to the clothing company might have leaked it.
