Andhra People Have No Faith In Naidu, Says KTR

Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president K T Rama Rao on Friday said the people of Andrha Pradesh had lost their faith in Telugu Desam Party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu because of his incompetence governance.

In a blistering attack on the TDP president, KTR said it was the TDP which had sailed with the Bharatiya Janata Party for four long years.

“Now, Naidu is trying to link the TRS and the BJP only to cover up his failure to administer the state,” he said.

KTR said Naidu would not be able to win the ensuing assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, because the people had lost faith in him.

“In Telangana, the people voted the TRS back to power because they had believed in the welfare schemes introduced by chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. But in Andhra, the people are not ready to vote for Naidu because of his incompetent governance,” he said, while addressing the party workers during the admission of Congress leader Vanteru Prathap Reddy into TRS at Telangana Bhavan.

KTR described the BJP as ‘Build-up Jatiya Party.’ He said the party gave a big build up in the recent assembly elections in Telangana by roping in several central leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah, six CMs and 11 central ministers in the campaign. But the BJP had lost deposit in 103 seats, he pointed out.

KTR remarked that neither BJP nor the Congress will get the magic number in the upcoming Parliament elections.

The TRS will be working with non-congress and non-BJP parties and various political parties like Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, and Biju Janata Dal which have made their stand clear to not support either BJP or Congress, he said.

The TRS working president expressed confidence that his party would win 16 MP seats in Telangana and play a key role at the Centre.
