Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who is determined to complete the Polavaram project as per schedule and release water through gravity by 2018, is making himself busy in completing the challenging tasks ahead. As part of it, the Chief Minister will begin the works of Polavaram’s copper dam and Icon Bridge. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation for the coffer dam of the Polavaram project on Thursday and will discuss with the officials concerned and review the works. The designs of the iconic bridge across the spill channel of the project, which is ready, will also be visited by the Chief Minister.
