Baahubali impact creates a struggle for Gunasekhar’s Hiranyakashipa

It looks like, we all need to wait for some more time for the much-anticipated Hiranyakashipa, which is being directed by Gunasekhar. Rana Daggubati is playing the title role, but the rest of the cast remains to be selected.

It is heard that Gunasekhar’s team is still working on the pre-production, and shooting may start from October this year. A source close to the unit said that, “There is a lot of animation and VFX work involved in this film and pre-production work is expected to be finalized around August. He wants to come up with a visual extravaganza, so he is working on the graphics too.”

The source further added that, “They don’t want to go the way of Baahubali and Sye Raa, for which filmmakers put in a lot of money. That’s why Gunasekhar is taking so much time for the pre-production and taking care not to exceed the budget.”

Meanwhile, it is heard that a few big sets are needed, and once the pre-production is complete, work on erecting the sets will start.
