Becoming A Hero Is Not A Joke Rahul

Comedian Rahul Ramakrishna used to make a mockery of the heroes, as his Twitter bio used to read back then, ‘currently hero’s friend’, as if he is getting only those roles despite being a very talented actor. So he got all the chance on earth to showcase his potential with “Mithai” movie now.

As the film got not only poor ratings and walk-ins, but also some already naming it as the disaster of the year, Rahul took to his micro-blogging page again to say that he knows this result and hence reluctant to promote it. “We tried our best to repair the film but our efforts were in vain. I had predicted this outcome of the film and was reluctant to promote it. My apologies to everybody for yesterday’s experience at the theatres. I still have respect for the director’s ideas and wild imagination”, he tweeted.

Rather giving any excuses, a hero should pull the film on his shoulders no matter how weak or strong the content is. And now to square the blame on the director in an intelligent way doesn’t make anyone a saint whose blood group is ‘honesty’. One thing is for sure, pulling off a hero like a feat is not a joke, but being a hero’s friend is safe. Well, hope Rahul will prove it with another film.
