Rajamouli’s biggest magnum opus Baahubali: The Conclusion has been the only topic with respect to Telugu Cinema as well as in the national arena. The film recently crossed 1250 crore in Indian Box Office and a whopping share of 150 crore in just AP and Telangana. While a commercially successful film these days gets thinned down in collections as days pass by, Baahubali seems to get even more stronger at the Box Office!
Even after two weeks of its release, Baahubali is running for house full crowds and even trade pundits are unable to estimate the magnitude of the film’s final collections. This has never been witnessed for any Telugu film till date and at the same time a great moment of pride for Tollywood.
However, this has made the makers of other releases wary about the competition. Sharwanand’s Radha has already started promotional work and gaining good popularity for its clean entertainment and pleasant songs. Another young hero Nikhil’s latest film Kesava is also scheduled to release on 19th May and the promotion is yet to start for it. Can these two smaller films sustain the storm of Baahubali?
We need to wait and watch whether the audience might receive these films well with open arms as they would need a whiff of fresh air after the grandeur shown by Baahubali.
