For the past few days, it’s strongly buzzed that Education Minister and Bheemili sitting MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao would be in fray from Vizag Parliament seat on TDP ticket and he will not be in fray from any Assembly seat. It was initially buzzed that Nara Lokesh would be in fray from Bheemili and later it was rumoured that former CBI JD Lakshminarayana would contest from Bheemili. But here is the latest update.
It is reliably learnt that Ganta Srinivasa Rao would be fielded from Vizag North Assembly ticket. Chandrababu has finally accepted to field Ganta for Assembly seat instead of his initial plan to field Ganta from Vizag Lok Sabha seat.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu is now hunting for a new candidate for Bheemili Assembly seat. Bheemili former Municipal Chairperson Gadu Chinnikumari Lakshmi’s name is now being considered for Bheemili Assembly ticket. Her husband and senior TDP leader Gadu Appalanaidu has confirmed that his wife got a call from Chandrababu and her candidature is being considered.
Now, all eyes are on VV Lakshminarayana. Will he join TDP and contest from Vizag Parliament? Or Will he stay away from TDP and remain apolitical?
