Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tests positive for Covid-19

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The Congress MP from Wayanad on Tuesday confirmed this news through his official Twitter handle, where he shared that he is experiencing mild symptoms.

“After experiencing mild symptoms, I’ve just tested positive for COVID,” Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter.

“All those who’ve been in contact with me recently, please follow all safety protocols and stay safe,” he added.

Yesterday, top Congress leader and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was admitted to hospital with a high fever. He later tested positive for coronavirus. It is worth mentioning that the 88-year-old has received two doses of Covaxin and was hospitalised as per the doctor’s advice.
