Covid-19: Is AP Secretariat under high risk?

After lockdown relaxations were announced, even secretariat services resumed as usual. It is a place where the CM and ministers of that respective state often stay there in the view of official works. Recently it was reported that an employee from AP secretariat who arrived in a special bus from Hyderabad tested positive for covid-19.

On top of that all the employees who accompanied him on the Secunderabad bus were suggested to self isolate themselves at home. The employee who tested positive for covid-19 from Mangalagiri Mandalam was reportedly staying in an apartment in Golivarithota, Navalur. He has now been admitted to the covid unit of NRI Hospital Mangalgiri.

The issue was little unexpected as the person underwent thermal screening at the bus stop and no fever was detected. The machine displayed that the temperature was normal. The mask is anyway worn and since the sanitizer is also used, the bus services have recommenced. So it is unlikely that others got infected too. Because If he gets infected by others on the bus it will come out within 10 days. However, since it happened within a couple of days it was proven none transmitted the infection to him, reported a transport service official.

The government officials alerted everyone and suggested not to roam unnecessarily just because the place is in green zone or the lockdown is eased as there are likely chances that a person might be asymptomatic in initial stages.
