Director says ‘I’ve travelled with Pawan Kalyan for an year’

Vijay Devarakonda shot to fame with the superb success of ‘Pelli Chupulu’. When a hero tastes success at the box office, his next films will carry certain amout of expectations. Similarly his next film ‘Dwaraka’ got decent expectations from the audience.  Even the trailer of Dwaraka raised curiosity among the audience. But the movie release got delayed due to some unavoidable reasons. Coming to the present the film makers announced that they are releasing the film on March 3.  A new director Srinivas Ravidra is debuting Tollywood with Dwaraka.

While speaking about himself and his debut film Dwaraka he shared interesting details. He said that “I’m basically a painter. Unexpectedly entered film industry. I have worked as an assitant to Tammareddy Bharadwaja..Veera Shankar.. Beemaneni Srinivasa Rao.  I’ve also travelled with Pawan Kalyan for an year. I’ve learned several things from him. I’ve assisted in the writing screen-play for Dil Raju’s Kotha Bangaru Lokam.. Dasaradh’s Greeku Veerudu”.

“When I narrated the story to producer Pradymna.. he was impressed with the story and he gave me advance immediately.  A big producer like RB Chowdary supported us.  Dwaraka is the story of a Erra Sinu who has similar features like Lord Sri Krishhna.  He is a thief.. and romantic like Sri Krishna. He becomes a Baba due to some circumstances.  But the entry of heroine into his life transforms him. This is a satirical comedy. Audience will surely enjoy the film”.
