In one more gruesome incident, a rape survivor was set ablaze by the rapist in Uttar Pradesh. This crime is reported in Unnao and the victim suffered seventy percent of burns.
Going into details, a 23 year old was sexually assaulted by two men of her village earlier this year in March. She lodged a complaint and regarding the case, the lady was on her way to court for the hearing. However the rapist who recently got out of jail on bail, stopped her and poured kerosene and set her on fire. She was rushed to a nearest hospital and the doctors have informed that her condition is critical and there are less chances of her survival.
The police have detained two people in connection with the crime while the main suspect is on the run. The UP police said they have issued lookout notices on the prime accused.
This incident reminds of Disha’s rape and murder that happened in Shamshabad, Telangana last week.
