Donald Trump accused of sexually assaulting writer

A New York-based columnist/writer, E Jean Caroll, claimed that US President Donald Trump has sexually assaulted her back in 1996 in a dressing room at a Manhattan department store. The news has been brought to the limelight by a popular New York magazine. When heard the accusation, Donald Trump denied saying, “I’ve never met this woman in my life.” He also called the allegations as fake and fiction-made, saying there is no evidence of such as pictures, videos or legal reports.

The writer E Jean Carroll, mentioned the whole incident in her upcoming book about the “hideous men”. Talking in detail, Caroll revealed that she met Trump in a friendly manner at Bergdorf Goodman in 1996 and he suddenly pushed her up against a dressing room wall, unzipped his pants and forced himself on her. However, the lady allegedly that she pushed him off and ran out of the store.

This is not the first time that Trump faced sexual accusations. Earlier in 2016, he has been accused during the presidential campaign by a bunch of women over sexual misconduct. Even then, Trump rubbished the allegations saying that all women have lied. Also, in 2015, he was seen grabbing women genitals, which is a popular video on YouTube now. But, this latest accusation by Caroll has shocked everyone because, earlier, women reported only groping and kissing. But Caroll said he tried to forcefully penetrate into her which is quite upsetting.

Carroll is now 75 years old and in her book, she also mentioned that Trump suggested her to buy a set of lingerie and urged her to try it on before the incident happened. “As I become aware of how large he is, he holds me against the wall with his shoulder and jams his hand under my coat dress and pulls down my tights,” Carroll wrote. Soon after, she told about the incident to two of her journalist friends but did not file the complaint. And the New York magazine said it confirmed the accounts of Carroll’s friends but did not identify any of their names.
