Don’t Expect Another Visual Wonder From Rajamouli

Audiences might be expecting a visual wonder like highly publicized ‘Gaurda’ or ‘Mahabharata’ from  Rajamouli after Baahubali series. Well, keep your expectations very low as the ace director looks in no mood to take up another magnum opus immediately.

During the Baahubali 2 trailer launch event, when asked about his next project, Rajamouli said that first of all he would go for a 2-3 months vacation to come out of the Baahubali world in which he spent more than 5 years.

‘I have plans to make a simple film in which i don’t have to use any VFX,’ said Rajamouli.

It may be recalled that immediately after hogging national limelight with Magadheera, Rajamouli surprised all by making a comedy film i.e. ‘Maryada Ramanna’. That was seen as a smart ploy to negate the humongous expectations on his immediate project after Magadheera.

‘Baahubali’ is a much bigger project compared to Magadheera and it made Rajamouli one of the most famed directors in India. His every future project would be eagerly awaited by movie lovers across India. Hence, he might have decided to go with a small and safe project instead.

Well, it must be admitted that Rajamoui has reached a stage where audiences will throng to theatres just seeing the famous ‘Rajamouli Stamp’ on a movie poster irrespective of the genre, hero and scale.
