Tollywood actor Chiranjeevi recently discontinued the shoot of his much anticipated 152nd movie, titled Acharya, in the wake of the coronavirus threat and urged everyone to stay home.
The film is being helmed by Koratala Siva of Janatha Garage fame and marks his first major collaboration with megastar. The film is touted to be a thorough mass masala entertainer with religious undertones. The film makers planned to feature Trisha as the lady love, but later shared that she quit due to creative differences. Rumours are rife that Kajal may be roped in as a replacement for the same role.
From an insider source, it was reported that Incidentally, another big technician and one of the most acclaimed editors, Sreekar Prasad, who entered the Limca book of records recently had been part of the project. However, he exited probably due to a disorganised and delayed way of film proceedings and had been replaced by another senior editor Naveen Nooli.
Previously mega power star Ramacharan was also part of the project, but a recent buzz is that Mahesh Babu will be essaying his role. Hope film makers don’t take any hasty decisions hereafter to see such bitter experiences as it may disappoint the fans too, and the project may end in a damp squib.
