First Look Poster: Keerthy Suresh’s Maidaan

Malayali kutti Keerthy Suresh’s career is going great guns down South. She has just won the National Award for her splendid performance as the legendary yesteryear heroine Savithri in Mahanati.

And today, Keerthy’s Bollywood debut film ‘Maidaan’ kickstarted its shoot. On this occasion, the makers released the film’s first look poster. Keerthy, who is undoubtedly excited about her Bollywood debut, took to her Instagram and wrote, “can’t wait to join Maidaan shoot.” In the movie, Keerthy will be donning several avatars, ranging from a young girl to a middle-aged woman.

Maidaan has Bollywood star Ajay Devgn reprising tge role of the legendary Hyderabadi football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who revolutionised Indian football in the 50s and 60s. In fact, Maidaan’s first look poster has the caption “The golden era of Indian football 1952-1962.”

National award winning Bollywood film Badhaai Ho’s director Amit Sharma is directing Maidaan and Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor is bankrolling the film.
