Fresh Controversy: YSRCP Flag On Shirdi Sai Baba

Several thousands of social media users have recently taken to Twitter and Facebook to speak about the pedestal of Gandhi statue that was painted with YSRCP flag colours. After gaining high attention from media and netizens, it was repainted with white colour. Besides that, AP government has been at the receiving end for painting all the government buildings with YCP colours.

The latest unfolding on social media is that lord Shirdi Sai Baba was covered with YSRCP flag in Cheepurupalli town of Vijayanagaram district, which is being represented by Andhra cabinet minister Botsa Satyanarayana.

The devotees who visited the temple were shocked to see Sai Baba being covered with a party flag. The local priests said the flag was removed on next day and added that they will ensure such things will not be repeated in future.

It now become a subject of discussion on social media and supporters of TDP, BJP and Jana Sena began to attack the government and YSRCP supporters for clothing the god with party flag. Given the fact that it happened in Botsa’s constituency, the news has grabbed more attention among social media users.
