High Court Orders To Increase Security For Naidu

About a month back, opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu has approached the High Court over YSRCP government reducing his security cover. In his petition, Chandrababu claimed that YSRCP government had deliberately decreased the security despite knowing the fact that he is in the hit-list of Maoists and red-sander smugglers.

Before going to the court, Chandrababu asked the YSRCP government to review his security once again. As the government ignored, the TDP chief knocked the High Court. The court has served notices to YSRCP government and asked to file counter. After a month long proceedings, the High Court gave verdict in favour of Chandrababu.

The court ordered YSRCP government to provide his usual 5+2 and 97 membered security to Chandrababu. The court also asked to arrange a jammer in the convoy while NSG and ISW should decide on providing Closed Protection Team and a chief security office (CSO) should monitor the security round the clock. Within three months, the things should get done, is what the court said lastly.
