The Cannes festival has a massive and abundant craze all over the world and in India, the craze began only when Indian stars Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai made an appearance in 2002, during the screening of Devdas. People talk about actors’ clothes, star-studded glitz, their red carpet appearances and much more. Currently, Indians are all awaited to see their favourites grace the prestigious 75th film festivals this year.
The latest news is that, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is making her debut this year to the Festival De Cannes. She reportedly flew to the Cannes International Film Festival 2019 from New York. She will also attend a film screening first. The actress will mainly focus on lending support to the documentary 5B which is an inspirational story of the people behind the first HIV/AIDS ward unit in the US. Priyanka will be walking the red carpet on the 16th of May.
While we wonder what look will PC wear for the Cannes, another good news is Deepika Padukone is also getting ready for the film festival. She will be represented as the brand ambassador of Loreal and will walk the red carpet on May 16 too. In fact, the actress also posted on Instagram asking her fans if she should wear a red outfit for the red carpet.
The question was asked with a yes or no poll and Deepika seeking fans advice is a sweet gesture, we believe. Majority of the poll result came for yes. So, we guess Deepika will grace the occasion with a stunning red gown. Moreover, Huma Qureshi, Kangana Ranaut, and Sonam Kapoor are also attending the Cannes in the next few days.
