How Telugu Remakes Are Rescuing Bollywood Stars!

Though Bollywood folks feel too egoistic to admit it, the reality is coming out very slowly. Despite the fact that they have very good content in their hands, whenever their happening stars are in a problem, it’s south content that is resuing them. Both Telugu and Tamil films are saving their faces.

Only after Aamir Khan remade Tamil-Telugu movie ‘Ghajini’, upon the suggestion of Allu Arvind (Geetha Arts produced Hindi version too), the first ever 100 crore club got opened in Bollywood. Till that film, 100 crores club remained a distant grape for them.

After struggling with flops for more than 3 years and finding it tough to cope up with the then rising competition, Salman is on the verge of losing stardom untile Pokiri saved him. He remade that movie as Wanted in Hindi, and that marked his new era in Bollywood. Years later, even Ajay Devgan realised that his routine comedies are not working and hence picked Surya’s Yamudu remake as Singham to put his career back on track. Even Akshay Kumar picked a couple of films like Vikramarkudu and Tagore to satisfy his mass fans, and currently doing Muni remake.

And now, despite the fact that Shahid Kapoor is a proven star, he never made it into the crore club alone. But Kabir Singh redefined his career, as the film is now posing to enter 200 crores club quite easily.

All said and done, south remakes have surely helped these stars revive their careers.
