Manchu Manoj is currently busy promoting his upcoming flick ‘Gunturodu’ which is the story of a hot-blooded youth. He believes everything has fallen in place for this mass entertainer and it’s gonna be good hit.
Asked why he isn’t attempting out-and-out commercial films more often, Manoj explains: ‘Does all commercial films become success? In my career, ‘Potugadu’ is the biggest commercial hit. When I watched it on TV, I felt like…why did I do so much of over-action? I used to feel bad after the day’s shoot while working for that project. I had done it due to the pressure for commercial success. ‘Prayanam’ and ‘Vedam’ are the films which gave me immense satisfaction. I would proudly show them to my children and grand children’.
Who is the decision maker when it comes to the projects of Manoj? The ‘Current Theega’ Actor replies, ‘I am not someone who would ask Directors & Writers to narrate the subjects to my father, mother and wife. If I like a script, I will do it…That’s it!’.
