You just returned from a vacation…
I usually go out for vacation after release of my films. This time, I went early. Since, there are all positive vibes surrounding the project, I took off on a vacation prior to the release.
You don’t like politics, then why did you do a film based on politics?
Better, you should ask my director Koratala Siva. Entire credit goes to him.
Did you do any homework for the film?
Actually, no. Shiva took complete care. In fact, the language and the lengthy dialogues were very new to me. However, I watched 2 to 3 videos of my brother-in-law Jayadev’s speeches in parliament.
Did you watch the film where your dad played CM?
I watch all films of my dad. I didn’t particularly watch any of his films for this movie.
Apparently, the film story revolves around the point of keeping promise?
Yes. But, it will appear as part of the story.
With other are scoring big hits and setting new benchmarks, did it create any tension for you?
Nothing like that. Each film has its own individual specialty.
Did you do any post-mortem on the disasters of Brahmotsavam and Spyder?
No. I’ll never do such things.
Tell us about commercial ingredients in BAN?
Generally, Siva makes commercial films with a strong message in the background. So, BAN is also a commercial movie.
Are people really in a mood to listen to messages?
Let’s hope so. Only 2 days left for release.
How is social media is affecting the result of a film?
A lot actually. Earlier, posts in dailies were published in social media. But, it is reverse now. In fact, promoting in social media has become crucial of late.
Most heroes are trying different getups in the name of makeover. What about you?
Since you asked, I’ll definitely try.

It will start from June.
What about the court controversies surrounding the project?
They might have cleared, I think so. If not, they wouldn’t have started the project.
