West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made interesting remarks at an event organized in Kolkata on the occasion of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birthday.
She said it would be beneficial for a large country like India to have four capitals. She was also of the opinion that the administration should be carried out from those four capitals in a rotational manner.
Mamata Banerjee said that when Netaji founded the Indian National Army, it included everyone, including the people of Gujarat, Bengal, and Tamil Nadu.
She demanded that the Central government should declare Netaji Jayanti as a national holiday.
“We all know about Netaji’s birthday which is celebrated as Deshnayak Diwas, but no one knows about his death,” she said.
