Is KCR Really So Scared Of Reddy?

Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is specifically targeting Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy these days, making people wonder whether he is seeing a potential threat in the latter.

TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi feels KCR appears to be feeling very insecure with Uttam going all out against the TRS government, as was evident from his comments that he would not be afraid even if one lakh Uttams come in the way of the irrigation projects.

“May be the chief minister is seeing one lakh people behind Uttam,” Mallu Ravi said.

He alleged that the chief minister was wasting public money in the name of redesigning of irrigation projects. There was no cabinet rule in the state, but only four people of KCR’s family were ruling the state, he claimed and made it clear that the fight against the government will not be stopped even if one crore KCRs come, till the farmers meets with justice.

Making it clear that the Congress party and Uttam Kumar Reddy were in favour of projects, Ravi alleged that the TRS government was not completing the projects already completed to the extent of 80 to 90 percent by the previous Congress party government.

The Congress party spent Rs 6000 crores on Pranahitha-Chevella project, but the TRS government has taken up works now after redesigning the project.

He reminded that Uttam has waged fight against G.O issued on land acquisition and also against fees re-imbursement, and also made the government to pay adequate compensation to the land losers of Pulichinthala project.

He said that the Congress party was ready for an open debate on the issue and said that the land oustees were happy now.
