The American Multinational Corporation and one of the leading IT giants, Cognizant on Wednesday declared the appointment of Brian Humphries as the company’s new CEO. Brian, who is the CEO and member of board of directors of Vodafone Business, will take up his job at Cognizant on 1st April, 2019.
The current Cognizant CEO Fransisco D’Souza and President Rajeev Mehta would step down on April 1. This’s for the first time Cognizant is hiring an outsider for company’s top job.
Brain Humphries, who served as president of Dell Global Enterprises before joining Vodafone, also worked with Hewlett-Packard as Senior Vice President, Emerging Markets. In Dell, Brian’s role was President and Chief Operating Officer of its Infrastructure Solutions Group.
