Sithara Entertainments that delivered a last commercial hit in 2020 with Bheeshma is lining up to produce medium to high budget entertainers. Producer Naga Vamshi who already bought remake rights of Malayalam sensational hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum to make it with two popular stars has now obtained remake rights of another Malayalam hit movie.
Kappela starring Anna Ben, Sreenath Bhasi and Roshan Mathew is one of the biggest hits of 2020. Sithara Entertainments is planning to remake this film with two young and talented actors. A young director will helm the project.
Announcing the news officially, Malayalam producer Vishnu Venu posted, “Announcing a happy news! Kappela is to be remade in telugu by Sithara Entertainments (Producers of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramulo, Jersey Movie, and many more). Kappela is the third movie from malayalam industry after Premam & Ayyappanum Koshiyum to be bought by them!
