Jagan Manifesto Must In Every Department!

YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to be thinking completely out of the box, springing surprises on everybody.

He ensured that posters of his “Navaratnalu” (nine jewels), representing nine major promises made by him during his padayatra adorned the walls of the chief minister’s chambers in the Secretariat.

Apparently, Jagan wants to ensure that he is reminded of implementation of the promises he had made to the people every day whenever he entered the chambers.

Now, Jagan has come out with yet another idea. He wants a copy of his party’s election manifesto to be sent to each government department so that it can be treated like a holy book and the officials make every effort in the implementation of his election promises.

This was revealed by Governor E S L Narasimhan while addressing a joint session of the state legislative assembly and legislative council at Amaravati on Friday.

He said the election manifesto of the YSRC is like a holy book on the lines of Bible, Quran and Bhagawad Gita.

The document would be kept in public domain and the government would take complete responsibility of its implementation in letter and spirit.

The copy will be sent to each department so that it can monitor the implementation of the promises from time to time.
