There is a talk that some people from the industry have submitted a report to CM Jagan Mohan Reddy on the politics and other affairs that are going on in Tollywood.
They said to have requested CM Jagan that AP governemnt has to seriously look into the affairs of increasing the number of shows, hiking the ticket prices and tax evasions by the makers.
YCP supporters are of the opinion that a section of Tollywood biggies would act differently had Chandrababu Naidu’s government been ruling the AP now.
They are commenting that these biggies would have diverted the funds to AP by saying that ‘It is a new state, it is in financial crisis, we have to support the state’.
They are confident that CM Jagan is going to focus on the Tollywood affairs once the state passes through Covid-19 crisis.
YCP supporters are saying that they will ask the CM to focus on Tollywood affairs by bringing up a transparent online ticketing system and legally controlling them so that they won’t increase the ticket prices at their whims and fancies. A new system will be brought up in the extra shows for theaters.
It seems Coronavirus is also showing its impact on Tollywood as well.
