YSRCP President YS Jagan’s whopping Rs 50 crore deal with Prashant Kishor has become a hot topic in political circles.
For the unknown, Prashant Kishor is a political strategist who has the reputation of winning elections for his clients with his mastermind and experience. He first came to wider public attention by helping Narendra Modi-led BJP win an absolute majority in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
Later, his acumen helped Nitish Kumar-Lalu alliance trump BJP in Bihar Assembly elections. He next helped Congress script a historic victory in Punjab Assembly elections 2017. His only failure was seen in recent Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections where Modi’s magic outsmarted every other possible factor.
Jagan has hired this 40-year-old political strategist to help his YCP win the 2019 Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. He has reportedly paid Kishor a whopping Rs 50 crore to plan and execute his party’s political campaign until 2019 elections. Some say that the deal amount could be even higher.
YCP chief is reportedly confident that Kishor’s experience will place him in the CM chair after the conclusion of next elections.
