Kabir Singh, the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy refuses to slow down. It has collected Rs. 17.54 Cr Nett on Monday in India, which is 86% of its first day tally.
This is sensational by any yardstick. Even some of the big budget films couldn’t collect that much on first working day.
Kabir Singh collected Rs. 88.37 Cr Nett in four days and is set to cross Rs. 100 Cr mark today. Going by the current trendings it is sure to cross Rs. 200 Cr, say trade analysts.
According to Taran Adarsh, the trending of Kabir Singh is better than all biggies released this year including Salman Khan’s Bharat.
He believes that Kabir Singh might challenge Uri: The Surgrical Strike to become the highest grossing Hindi film of 2019.
Kabir Singh has been criticized by the top critics for its content and the way it has shown its hero, but it has braved all the criticism and has emerged blockbuster at the ticket windows.
