Kanika Kapoor’s latest test results for COVID-19 come negative but singer may not get home immediately

Kanika Kapoor, who tested positive for Coronavirus after returning to India from London, was admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow when she started showing symptoms of the infection.
After that results of multiple tests came positive, indicating that the Bollywood singer would have to stay longer at the hospital until she recovered. Now, there are reports that the artist’s latest test has come negative but she will have to still wait for another test to prove that the infection has been completely cured. Meanwhile, there has been no word from the hospital authorities or Kanika’s family regarding this yet.

The singer was earlier slammed for being careless after returning from London and interacting with hundreds of people while she was possibly infected. When she complained about the poor living conditions at the hospital, the authorities denied her claims, alleging that the singer was throwing starry tantrums instead. Three FIRs were also filed against Kanika for her careless behaviour and a blame game had been going on between the hospital authorities and Kanika’s family. Meanwhile, this new information has emerged and, all said and done, we hope the doctors have managed to cure Kanika.
