KCR Commissioning Survey In Andhra?

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who threatened to give a ‘return gift’ to his Andhra Pradesh counterpart and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, is said to have decided to go in a systematic way.

According to TRS sources, KCR is contemplating commissioning a survey by private agencies, apart from his own intelligence department, in Andhra Pradesh ascertain the factual political scenario in the state.

Apparently, KCR also wants to find out whether his open support to YSR Congress party would benefit the latter or the TDP and whether people would receive him well in Andhra.

It is learnt several YSRC leaders have expressed apprehension that KCR’s campaign might damage the party’s prospects in the coming elections.

Only if the survey is favourable to him, KCR will step into Andhra Pradesh to meet Jagan first and then campaign for the YSRC.

This is learnt to have come up during the meeting of TRS working president K T Rama Rao with YS Jagan at Lotus Pond a couple of days ago.

KTR is learnt to have told Jagan that the YSRC also could conduct an independent survey on the people’s sentiment in case the TRS extends its support to it openly.

“Only if everything works out well, KCR will come out with a plan of action,” KTR is learnt to have told Jagan.
