KCR happy about PM Modi comments on muslims

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today expressed happiness at comments of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that there was a need for considering the backwardness of the Muslims across the nation.

KCR was participating at a brief discussion to increase reservations for Muslims at the special session of Council here after the Assembly session approving reservations bill, ratifying GST bill and also approving Heritage structures protection bill. Attending a BJP national executive meeting at Bhuvaneshwar in Odisha Narendra Modi has underscored the need for focusing on the very backwardness of the Muslims across the nation who should be involved in the development process. Modi also stated that Muslim Minorities in the country are lagging behind in every sector and should be developed by involving them in the process of growth trajectory.

Referring to the Prime Minister’s opinion on the backwardness of the Muslims, Chandrasekhar Rao noted that this is the time for increasing their reservations. He also exuded confidence that the bill passed in the Assembly and the Council for increase of reservations for the Muslims will be approved by the Centre as Modi himself vouched for bringing them into mainstream by involving them in the growth process.

He informed to the members of the council about Modi’s comments in favour of the Muslims and said that the bill has just demand to increase the reservations. The Centre is to approve this bill and incorporate the same in the 9th schedule of the Constitution, he opined. “We will sure win in the pursuit of getting approved this bill from the Centre”, he hoped.
