Kannada film “KGF” is a trendsetter among South Indian films after the “Baahubali” franchise.
It was the first Kannada movie to become a roaring hit nationwide. The Yash starrer gained cult status among the mass audiences in Andhra Prades and Telangana as well.
“KGF” is already available on streaming sites. Still, the film attracted huge ratings when it was screened on the small screen for the first time.
“KGF Chapter 1” was premiered on Star MAA on July 5. The blockbuster movie has registered 9.21 Television Ratings in the combined market of Andhra and Telangana (rural+urban) and got 11.85 TVR in urban areas.
This is a huge rating for a movie that was released in theaters nearly two years ago.
Prashanth Neel has directed the film. The second chapter is under production.
