Kodi Katthi case: NIA vs AP police

The ‘Kodi Katthi’ case of YS Jagan has become a battle between National Investigative Agency (NIA) and Andhra Pradesh Police. On Thursday NIA has asked AP police to submit the evidences in connection with the case.

However, AP police have turned down NIA’s request. With no other option, NIA has filed a petition in High Court claiming that AP police are not cooperating to probe the case and are not providing evidence. The high court bench is examining this petition today. Earlier this bench had issued directives to surrender the accused Srinivas Rao into NIA’s custody.

The Andhra police have their version in this case. As per the AP government’s orders, they are unable to provide details and evidences of the case.

With the court resumes today, how will it sort out the differences between NIA and AP police is going to be watched out for.
