Kshanam Director’s Next: Krishna and His Leela

Ravikanth Perepu, who made an impressive debut with suspense thriller Kshanam in 2016, had gone into oblivion. After Kshanam, Ravikanth took a lot of gap and many wondered what happened to his next project.

While initial reports had it that Ravikanth would direct Rana Daggubati, somehow, it didn’t take off. Finally, Ravikanth has roped in Kalki fame Siddu for his next. And he has Seerat Kapoor as Sid’s love interest.

Interestingly, the film has been titled as ‘Krishna and His Leela’. And recently, the film’s shoot schedule has been wrapped up in Ladakh where the tensions were high after ending the Special Status to Kashmir and dividing Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh into two Union Territories.

Posting the picture from their shoot’s last shot in Ladakh, he wrote, “One last shot, Promise! At 17,582 ft above sea level we wrap ‘Krishna & his Leela’ in Ladakh.” (sic) Sharing his experience in Ladakh and how cooperative the locals were, Ravikanth added, “With all the surrounding tension around Ladakh right now, the people here were extremely friendly in helping us finish this. Every film has its own journey in the making and this one, is a specimen. See you at the movies, Coming soon!” (sic)

Meanwhile, Evaru music director Sricharan Pakala has composed the music for this film. After 3 years of long wait, Ravikanth has finally got a film. Let’s see what is in store for this young filmmaker.
