Andhra Octopus Lagadapati Rajagopal who has disappeared from the political scene in the Telugu states after Telangana elections seems to have surfaced in Vijayawada all of a sudden. After his predictions were criticised for being in favour of Prajakutami, Lagadapati hasn’t spoken to the media.
However, his visit to AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s house has sparked off speculations whether he will be re-entering politics or is he lobbying for any candidate. While he has stated that his visit to the TDP Chief’s house was to invite him for a family function, political observers do not see this visit as a non-political one.
Considering the timing of his visit, they say that he could either be conducting surveys for the TDP to understand the trends in the state or would have come for a purpose related to the Assembly or Loksabha elections due in state this April-May. Whatever the purpose, Lagadapati sure knows how to keep everyone guessing about his moves!
