Leak: BJP MP’s call puts Collector in trouble

A leaked audio clip of Karimnagar BJP MP Bandi Sanjay and Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed has become viral and it has put the Collector in trouble. Going into details, Bandi Sanjay had called Collector to complain against current TRS minister Gangula Kamalakar’s election expenditure.

In this phone call, Collector informed the BJP leader that he too received many complaints against the TRS leader and had forwarded the issue to the then Election Observer. Collector Sarfaraz added that after getting all the details, he will put the election expenses of each candidate in the website.

With the Collector reacting positively, BJP’s Bandi Sanjay thanked the Collector for taking up the issue seriously. The BJP leader also said he would meet Collector if he wins. This incident happened right after the Assembly elections in last December.

Reacting on this, Bandi Sanjay said he did not mistake but this incident proves the TRS government is tapping the phones of opposition leaders which is completely illegal.

On the other hand, TRS minister Gangula Kamalakar is very serious on it. In the past he claimed that Karimnagar Collector Sarfaraz has worked for his defeat and this conversation with the BJP leader, has almost confirmed so.

As the audio clip went viral, Telangana CMO called on Karimnagar Collector for an explanation. Collector Sarfaraz is said to have informed the details of the conversation with the BJP leader. Also to the media, the Collector said, the audio clip was cut and made short to one minute and thirty seconds. But the complete audio clip got leaked a few hours later which is said to be an eight minutes one.

Reports are coming out that CM KCR might change Karimnagar Collector and is holding talks with officials and TRS ministers from the district.
