Lowered Rates Saved Mega Hero

Back to back six films have turned duds at the box office, thereby leaving mega menalludu Sai Dharam Tej in a big confusion and delusion. Finally, he has come up with Chitralahari, which has given him some respite we have to say.

Actually, Sai Dharam had this 20+ crore market but after six flops, surely distributors are tired of testing luck with his movie yet again. That’s the reason Chitralahari was sold at lesser costs for just 14 crores. And in its theatrical run till date, the movie collected 15 crores, thereby saving all the distributors involved and give them some profit as well.

Had Chitralahari got sold at 20+ crore, then the film would have caused 5 crores loss for the distributors without any fail. And thereby Sai Dharam would have added 7th straight flop to his kitty. Now that the film is available on Amazon Prime as well, theatrical run might come to an end.

In his next, Sai Dharam Tej who got rechristened as Sai Tej, is teaming up with director Maruthi.
