Prabhas’s big budget action drama, Salaar is in the early stages of shoot now. The project is helmed by Prashanth Neel and it is one of the most anticipated Indian films that are currently in the making. Well, the latest updates are implying that the cast of Radhe Shyam just got a whole lot bigger and particularly so, the film’s market in Malayalam expanded multifold.
As per the latest updates, Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing an important role in Salaar which is being mounted on a lavish scale. While it is not too clear about the nature of Prithviraj’s character in the film, it is implied that he will be playing a character with negative shades.
If Prithviraj really is playing a negative character in Salaar, it could be a huge boost to the film’s box office prospects in Malayalam, given the fact that the Malyali actor is one of the biggest superstars in Malayalam cinema. His inclusion could be out great help to the film, as a whole.
Also, Prithviraj is one of the season actors in South India cinema. Him sharing the screen with Prabahs and the duo having a few confrontational scenes in the film would be a lot more exciting. It would mark the coming together of two of South India’s biggest superstars.
Salaar is being made in two parts. The film is directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fama and it has Shruti Haasan in the female lead role. It is billed to be one of India’s biggest action dramas that are in production phase now. The stakes are exceptionally high on this two-part project. Prabhas is currently promoting his forthcoming film, Radhe Shyam which will be releasing in theatres on the 11th of this month.
